A N Pawar & Associates — Chartered Accountant
§ 2.1Credentials & Qualifications

Chartered Accountant

Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), qualified to practice statutory audit, tax audit and assurance engagements.

Practising Certificate

Holds a Certificate of Practice issued by ICAI, authorising independent practice as a Chartered Accountant in India.

Registered Tax & GST Practitioner

Authorised to represent clients before Income Tax and GST authorities, including scrutiny, assessment and appellate proceedings.

§ 2.2How the Practice Operates

Four principles the practice does not treat as optional.

01

Independence

Audit opinions and tax positions are formed on the facts of the engagement, not on what is convenient for the client relationship.

02

Documentation

Every engagement carries working papers, an engagement letter, and a record of the basis for each material judgement made.

03

Confidentiality

Client financial information is not discussed or disclosed outside the engagement team, in line with the ICAI Code of Ethics.

04

Continuing education

Statutes, standards and forms change most years — practice positions are updated against current notifications, not last year's memory of them.

§ 2.3Institute Affiliation

Regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is the statutory body established under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, responsible for regulating the CA profession in India. Members in practice are bound by the ICAI Code of Ethics and are subject to its disciplinary mechanism — which is what distinguishes a signed CA report from an unsigned one.
